An important result is that the stereocameras with two objectives are not goad for universal use; they are useful only for moving objects. For karst, every type of standard camera is better.

It does not matter if the pair of photos is not made simultaneously. Spatial effect of the stereoimage changes with the change of the base. When the base limits to zero the effect limits to normal two-dimensionsal photography or the natural view to a very long distance.

Enlarging the base makes the perception of space more expressive, and the discrimination of a small difference of the distance makes it easier. It makes a spatial view on a very large and distant object possible, which we see only as a flat scene. Stereoimage of a far landscape, made by using a big base, is impressive like a view from a short distance on a small mode] a plastic relief map.

Enlargement of the base is, of course, limited. The main limiting effect is duplication. The eyes feel the view unpleasantly with strain. Parallactic angle is an angular magnitude of the base in the place of the object.
